As part of the initiative "Business teaches", the Chairman of the Board of NOCA, Prof. Dr. Momchil Antov, gave open lectures to the students of the 11th and 12th classes of the specialisation "Customs and Tax Administration" at NTG - Plovdiv. The subject of the lectures was the possibility of using artificial intelligence in customs procedures for determining and controlling the customs value, tariff number and origin of goods.
The students were very interested and there was no lack of questions from them regarding various aspects of the work of customs brokers with modern digital tools and customs information systems. During the discussions they also showed a high level of general culture in the field of customs activities, which Assoc. Prof. Antov defined as a good basis for their future educational and professional development in this field.
