A joint meeting between NOCA and the Association of Customs, Excise and Tax Service Providers, Hungary (VJASZSZ) was held in the city of Budapest, Hungary on 3-4 September. NOCA was represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Momchil Antov, Chairman of the Board, and Mr. Emil Dandolov, Member of the Board.
The following topics were on the agenda
- Presentation of the NOCA project on "Green Corridors" along land borders
- Exchange of experience on the customs sanctions system
- Experience with the implementation of NCTS, phase 5.0 in Bulgaria
- Problems with customs clearance of goods exported from the EU
- Some aspects of the EC proposal for a new customs reform of the Union and its impact on customs brokers
The meeting is a continuation of the good relations between the two organisations, between which a partnership agreement was signed in May 2023.
