NOCA signs a cooperation agreement with colleagues from Hungary

The National Organization of Customs Agents (NOCA) increased its international partners by one more, and on May 16, 2023, in Budapest, we signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Association of Customs, Excise and Tax Service Providers in Hungary (VJASZSZ). The agreement was signed in the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Hungary by Associate Professor Dr. Momchil Antov, Chairman of the Board of NOMA and Mr. Janos Bereni, Chairman of VJASZSZ.
 
Support for its successful implementation was also witnessed by the national customs administrations of Bulgaria and Hungary in the person of Mr. Lachezar Krastev, Deputy Director of the Bulgarian Customs Agency and Brigadier General Chaba Torda, Deputy Director of the National Tax and Customs Administration in Hungary.
 
Thanks for the support of Mr. Hristo Polendakov, Ambassador of Bulgaria in Hungary and Mrs. Nevena Stoyanova, Head of the Office for Trade and Economic Affairs, Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Budapest, Hungary.

Among the participants of the event were Mr. Emil Dandolov, member of the Board of Directors of NOCA, Mr. Hafuzi Avnia, head of the Balkan section of VJASZSZ, Mr. Dr. Yordan Bochkov, Honorary Consul of Bulgaria and Mr. Eric Molnar, President of the Organization for Cooperation and Development of the Consular Council for Central and South-Eastern Europe (OCECCD).

The focus of future cooperation is the exchange of information and good practices, preparation of joint positions on current issues in the customs field at the EU level and support for international harmonization and simplification of customs procedures and practices, development of cooperation along the Turkey-Western Europe trade corridor, participation in joint events and projects, organizing professional forums and conferences, stimulating the partnership between the members of the two organizations, etc.
